NASA GIDEP Visits RMV Tech Group during NASA Ames Safety Week October 25-26, 2016

On the 25th of October, RMV received a welcome visit from NASA GIDEP HQ and NASA GIDEP ARC to see the different projects underway by RMV in bringing awareness to Government and Industry of suspect and non-conforming ESD materials popping up in many unsuspected places throughout the global supply chain.
First to Present and First to Publish on the growing problem of Suspect and Non-Compliant ESD Packaging and Materials at the 2010 NASA Quality Leadership Forum, Kennedy Space Center, Bob Vermillion, CEO and Founder of RMV Technology Group, is pioneering many efforts to bring awareness to Government and Industry to better protect our Country and our Warfighter.
The Global Supply Chain is finally starting to wake up to the fact that not only can ultra-sensitive parts and components be "knocked off," but ESD sensitive materials and packaging can also be suspect! What good is an "original" part if the protective packaging or material is non-conforming or suspect counterfeit whose function is to protect hardware from damage or destruction during handling, storage or transport?
